Film Companies for my Film

I have watched many different types of movies made by different types of companies. Each company has a specialty. For example, Blumhouse productions makes mostly horror movies. With this in mind I decided to work with Netflix Original Film Company.  

They would be a good fit because they they produce movies all over the spectrum. For example they created Stranger Things. This piece of film contains a heavy sci-fi aspect with many special effects. They also produce more life-like films such as You. The versatility of this film producer will make it a great fit for Obsessed.

Women in the Window

A women who lives alone keeps tabs on her neighbors through the window, and learns that their seemingly perfect family has hidden secrets. This is similar to my film because it has a similar theme of stalking and as a psychological
thriller aspect to it. 

Lucifer

This piece of film is about lucifer, the devil who left hell to be on earth. The opening includes the main character. My film opening is similar to this because it introduced the characters and also has the aspect of a upbeat song, followed by dialogue. It helps show the personality of the main character in a more fun and humorous way, with an underlying aspect of darkness. 

Behind Her Eyes

This film includes a more psychological aspect compared to the other films mentioned. It includes mind games that one of the character faces and makes the watcher second guess ideologies. This is similar to my film because it as the audience second guessing certain things about the film and how they perceive it. 

Financial Success of these Films

These films appealed to many and was decently financially successful.  They have been on Netflix for a prolonged time and have continued to grow in viewership. The concept of these movies have been shown to be victorious in viewership. There is no evident information about money earned from these films, but they have been widely popular, and have been nominated for many awards.
