Writing my screenplay!!
As I write my screenplay for my film opening, I find that the hardest thing about it is committing to a single idea. As I am watching various different films, I want to incorporate aspects of that into my film opening. For example, I watch something like Joker, and that is a very telling opening and gives the background. Then I watch another film that has more of a comedy opening. The problem is how to combine both of those to make a fluid opening.
Another hard factor is trying to picture the story in my head, and translating that onto paper with words. It is hard to get every detail I am thinking about into a concise series of sentences.
However, there are some things that are easier than I thought. As I was looking through other screenplays, I expected the formatting of the pages to be hard. However, it was not that hard to format, and I was able to understand what everything was and what the purpose of that text is.
Creating the words the characters say was also not very hard because I have what I want the characters personality to be like, and that makes it easier to decide what they are going to say .
Now that I have the script pretty much established I am able start planning the other factors of the film.

For the location, I plan on using my house and my friend's house. I will make the room to fit the character, and add various props that contribute to mise-en-scene. I am going to use a digital camera to film the ground shots and I am going to use a drone to do the above-ground shots. These differing angles will help create perspective. I also plan on using my friends as actors, and I will use their clothes for the dressing aspect of the characters.
