Music Video Update!

 Welcome back! The music video has been rolling smoothly. We have got actors, established a story, and have begun the process of filming. The first 40 seconds are completed. Something different that my group is doing is editing and filming in clusters. They know exactly where and what they want to film and as they film they are editing the video. This is different because usually when filming, you get all the clips needed, then start the process editing. My group has been editing as they go. This is beneficial in a way because they are able to deduct what clips are good, and what needs to be refilmed. It also helps the group to see their progress. I will include a snippet of the video below!

Promotion

To promote the video, I have created an Instagram. I plan on posting promotional content such as interviews with the cast, analysis of some of the clips, and promotional flyers. These aspects of promotion help to draw attention to the upcoming music video. I also plan on making a short trailer that shows the mystery presented throughout the music video. Aspects of Identity

This music video taps into themes of gender, and relationships. The music video itself is about how a girl finds out something that completely change the course of her relationships. The watchers later finds out that it is due to gender reasons. The gender represented is not essentially man vs. women, but is more of an internalized gender battles,. The gender script given by society drives the conflict that is shown in the music video. Be sure to stay tuned for more updates!
