Film Company Research

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my blog!

In recent weeks, I have been researching to find a company that is good for the film I would like to produce. One of the main things that I am looking for is the ability to display the message  I want to get across and the ability to reach the proper audience. This will ensure my film's success and give me adequate resources to produce it. 

I believe that Lionsgate and A24 would be great film companies to co-produce my film. Both of these companies have gained significant recognition for the films they have produced and have gained widespread success with these released films. 

Another aspect that these film companies portray is the inclusion of an unexpected ending. Many great film companies, like Disney, are known for their happy and more predictable endings. I want to juxtapose this ideology with a more unexpected ending in my short film. I have taken inspiration from movies produced by these companies and have seen that they can create the endings that I want to achieve. In addition, these companies also have similar themes to what I want to create. It centralizes on the ideas of human nature and its effects on the things around us. Using these companies, I can show emotion and message in my film. See below for films from both companies and the endings of them.

There are many more determinants to great fitting companies, one being their financial success. Both of these companies have shown tremendous box office success for the films they have produced. Lionsgate has had over 400 million box office for their top seven movies and continues to raise this number. A24 is a smaller company, but i

t has seen similar successes. Their most popular movie, Everything Everywhere All At Once, got over 100 million in total box office revenue, which continues to climb through the years. Although money is not the sole indicator, it helps to show success and how these companies have utilized their resources to produce great movies. For that reason, I would like to go with them for my film.
